Two countries. One production standard.
The choice of site is a commercial and operational decision, not a quality shortcut. Both locations work to the same approved sample, inspection plan and documentation.
Grand Dragon operates two owned factories — Huizhou, China (sampling, complex builds, small runs) and Dhaka, Bangladesh (volume programmes) — producing to one sealed quality standard.
Same standard, different strengths.
| Dimension | China | Bangladesh |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Fast reaction, complex constructions, small runs | Scale, cost position, long-run programmes |
| Sample room | Own pattern and cutting room | Sampling replicated to the same standard |
| Area / headcount | 7000sqm / 200 | 3000sqm / 80 |
| Monthly capacity | 20000 | |
| Duty position | Assessed per destination | Advantageous for EU / UK programmes |

Visiting
Customers and their nominated auditors are welcome to visit. Visits are scheduled in advance so that the relevant technical and production staff are available, and so that customer confidentiality is protected on the line.
What a visit covers
- Sample room and pattern development
- Material library and incoming inspection
- Cutting, assembly and finishing lines
- Final inspection and packing
What we ask
- Advance notice of at least 7 working days
- Visitor names and company for site access
- No photography on lines running other customers' work
- Safety briefing on arrival
When does a programme move to Dhaka?
- Can small runs stay in Huizhou?
- Yes — small runs stay in Huizhou; the setup travel costs more than the saving.
- Are both factories held to the same standard?
- Same sealed card, same AQL plan. New builds run in Huizhou first, then move.
- Who owns the factories?
- Both sites are owned operations — Huizhou (China) and Dhaka (Bangladesh).
